DSJ Global is partnered with a top food and beverage company in South Carolina to hire a Maintenance Superintendent.
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for offering leadership, consultation, and expertise on maintenance budgeting, cost optimization, process improvement, modifications, and overall facility upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designs and implements maintenance and facility enhancement programs and projects aimed at improving plant and equipment performance.
- Oversees the maintenance team, including hiring, training, and fostering staff development to ensure the department's needs are met.
- Assist in the development and management of the maintenance budget, forecasting the required funds.
- Responsible for implementing Preventative and Predictive Maintenance and developing continuous improvement of all manufacturing processes.
- Works closely with the CAPEX team to assess and coordinate manpower requirements
Qualifications:
- Food and beverage manufacturing experience; meat processing preferred.
- 3-5 years of management experience.
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of maintenance management systems and processes, including preventative and predictive maintenance, manufacturing technologies, and standard software applications.
